Grants are available for all the designation programs. Competition for these awards is based on financial need and a commitment to earning a Professional designation.

The Houston Apartment Foundation will pay 50 percent of the total cost of the Certification program (CAM, CAS, CAPS, or NALP) for HAA members who need financial assistance, provided the following three guidelines are met:

Individuals must successfully complete in full, a grant application that demonstrates financial need and a commitment to earning a professional designation, including signature of person making the recommendation. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Each applicant must submit a letter of recommendation from a member who is in good standing with the Houston Apartment Association.
Applicants must be employed by an HAA member in good standing.

If your application is approved, you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $50 (For CAM, CAS & CAPS) or $25 (for NALP).

All applications are reviewed by the Education Advisory Council.
