The Houston Apartment Association has long been involved in providing community service and volunteers. The multihousing industry is a "people" business and HAA has a tradition of involving members to help others, such as the homeless and the needy, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations.
Chaired by Kyle Brown, Milestone Management, the Community Relations Committee is the driving force behind the charitable activities of HAA. If you are interested in participating in community service activities or projects, please contact Susan Hinkley at HAA, 713-595-0313 or shinkley@haaonline.org.
Community Service Accomplishments
Trained staff answer questions from residents and property management members regarding the lease, maintenance, security deposits and other subjects. Formal complaints are forwarded to property owners, and two committees hear cases regarding resident and property management member deposit disputes.
