The Houston Apartment Association is the leading advocate, resource and community partner for quality rental housing providers in the Houston and surrounding area.  

 

 

Strength in Numbers  

HAA's 790+ owner/management members and 725 product and service supplier members represent more than 524,000 apartment homes in more than 2,500 apartment communities, or more than 90 percent of Houston area apartments. HAA member properties are located in these cities: Alvin, Anahuac, Angelton, Bay City, Baytown, Bellaire, Bellville, Channelview, Cleveland, Clute, Columbus, Conroe, Crosby, Dayton, Deer Park, Eagle Lake, Freeport, Friendswood, Fulshear, Hempstead, Hockley, Houston, Humble, Jacinto City, Katy, La Porte, Lake Jackson, League City, Liberty, Magnolia, Manvel, Meadows Place, Missouri City, Montgomery, New Caney, New Waverly, Palacios, Pasadena, Pearland, Porter, Richmond, Rosenberg, Seabrook, Sealy, Shenandoah, Shoreacres, South Houston, Stafford, Sugar Land, Sweeny, Texas City, The Woodlands, Tomball, Victoria, Waller, Webster, West Columbia, Wharton and Willis.

Vision Statement   

  

HAA develops leadership in the multi-family industry by engaging broadly diverse membership, embracing effective technology and advocating for a geographically inclusive association.  

   

Goals for 2012-2015  

   

  • Implement effective technology solutions and provide efficient online resources. 
  • Expand wide-ranging legislative advocacy and PAC development.
     
  • Promote industry leadership and expansion of workforce through strategic community outreach and partnerships.  
  • Promote value and enhance the RCR services and revenue stream.
     
  • Develop future leadership within our broadly diverse membership.  
  • Promote recognition of HAA by enhancing internal and external communications.
     
  • Develop innovative programs and cultivate strategic partnerships.

State and National Affiliations   

  

HAA members were instrumental in forming the state and national associations, the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. HAA members are also members of the Texas Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association.  With many regional and national apartment management firms having a major presence or based in Houston, the HAA and its members are active in TAA, NAA and the National Multi Housing Council dealing with the issues and trends that affect the apartment industry locally and across the nation.
