The class includes HVAC terminology, fundamentals of refrigerants and the refrigeration cycle and components and functions of an HVAC system. This class will cover all material necessary for a technician to successfully pass this certification exam (additional fee required) and work with R-410A. We will also discuss what changes are really necessary and how to begin or improve the transition to R-410A. We will cover the differences between R-22 and this new refrigerant, how to charge a system with R-410A correctly and what equipment is necessary.
