Committee and club members face the challenge of getting involved to carry out each club and committee's duties and purpose. Some general responsibilities of committee and club members include a commitment to attend all meetings and help develop marketing strategies.

Ambassador Club
This group assists HAA by contacting new and current members. The club volunteers will be informing members of upcoming events and promoting membership benefits. Club participants also exchange industry information at monthly meetings. Open to Supplier members. more info...
Career and Community Development Committee
Owner/management and supplier members oversee HAA public awareness programs which are presented to high school and college students. Committee members also man booths at job fairs and career days promoting the multifamily industry. Open to all members. Meets on an as-needed basis. more info...
Century Club
Open to all HAA members, the Century Club requires a $100 contribution to the Houston Apartment Association Better Government Fund, our political action committee. Century Club members may attend HAABGF functions and are represented in all votes. more info...

Education Advisory Council
Provides insight and guidance to support ongoing education initiatives and helps HAA develop new programs and meet the education needs of an ever-evolving industry. more info...
Expo Exhibitor Committee
Assists with sales and promotion of the HAA EXPO, the association's annual trade show. Open to all members, who may be asked to qualify by selling a designated number of exhibit spaces. Meetings based on need. more info...

Formed to promote HAA membership, this group of owner/management and supplier members recruits companies to join the association. To participate, all you need is an interest in promoting HAA. more info...
HAA Better Government Fund
A political action committee that supports candidates for public office. Trusteeship in HAABGF is $500 and is open to all HAA members. Fill out this membership application to get active. Meetings are scheduled several times a year, particularly before elections, and often feature candidates as guest speakers. more info...
Membership Recruitment Campaign
Once a year, the association holds a membership drive. All members are invited to participate in the nine-week campaign. more info...
Resident Relations Committee
Two Resident Relations committees meet to resolve resident-owner disputes regarding security deposit refunds. Each committee consists of six owner members, six managers, six supplier members and one owner member chairperson. Each committee meets monthly or as needed at HAA. more info...

To serve as an advisory group to HAA for things relating to our web presence and all projects involving technology development.
Apartment Communities Supervisors and Executives (ACES) In pursuit of an ever-increasing level of professionalism, the Apartment Community Executives & Supervisors group has created a vehicle to interface with members and exchange information and knowledge. Additionally, such a society affords the opportunity for educational programs and presentations; subjects of mutual industry concerns.
