Leadership Lyceum

Recognizing that leadership development is a common challenge experienced throughout its federation of 190 affiliates, the National Apartment Association has created a template for state and local associations to utilize. The HAA Lyceum program has been modified and expanded from the NAA outline to best fit the interests and needs of our association and local landscape.

The only course requirement in the HAA Lyceum program is a commitment made by each candidate to faithfully participate in all Lyceum class sessions and attend the committee meetings requested over a one or two-year period.

Program Objective

The Leadership Lyceum helps HAA identify and develop a well-informed and highly motivated group of emerging multifamily housing leaders; people with a broad-based vision for, and strong commitment to the mission and strategic objectives of the association and its affiliated associations. The lyceum candidates are selected annually by the Leadership Development Task Force.
