HAA received the following information from Humble Area Assistance Ministries regarding two opportunities to support the organization. HAAM is one of the agencies that HAA’s Tools For School Supply Drive has supported for the last two years. The agency serves thousands in the Humble/Kingwood area with food, clothing, education and more. Please consider attending these events:
* Friday, Feb. 18, 7 to 10 p.m., Kings Harbor - Mardi Gras Concert featuring Leroy Thomas and the Zydeco Roadrunners.
* Sunday, Feb. 27, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Humble Civic Center - Raise the Roof Chili Cook-Off and Concert.
Tickets will be available at the door for $10 (adults) and $5 (children 7+). Children six and under are free.In addition to all-you-can-eat chili, we have desserts from Lawler's, a great raffle, and the following just for children:
Free games and prizes
- -Raffle for children only
- -Lemonade and other goodies
- -Free face painting
- -Junction Jack from the Houston Astros
