In honor of HAA's new offices' 4th Anniversary coming up next month, we are taking a look back at HAA's ground breaking days for the first Houston Apartment Association offices....

March 23, 1979, was the date we broke ground for the first HAA's offices, which was actually the first local apartment association in the country to attain the capabilities and resources to accomplish such a milestone. Our new offices in Fallstone Road signified "more than just brick and mortar, it symbolized permanency for our association."
And 28 years later, we were doing it again...

July 18, 2006, marked the second ground breaking day for HAA. Less than a year later, we were packing up and leaving Fallstone Road and moving to our current offices.
Note that H.J. Tollett appears in both photos! He chaired the Office Building Task Force the second time around.
If you have a photo or story to share feel free to send them directly to Aimee or call her at 713-595-0302! Check back every Friday for the latest 50th Anniversary Friday Post!
